Our church welcomes Rev. Jim Antal, a widely recognized activist for climate justice, for a day of social action and reflection on the role of faith communities in preserving God’s creation for the future. Rev. Antal will read from his book in a newly revised and updated edition, Climate Church, Climate World: how People of Faith Must Work for Change, and lead conversation with our congregation and community members. We expect this reading will be promoted through area bookstores and by participants in nonviolent protests at local banks heavily invested in fossil fuels. You can join Rev. Cameron Barr and Rev. Jim Antal in protests at local bank branches by signing up here: https://www.mobilize.us/thirdact/event/548562/.

Please join us for the book reading and discussion in the Fellowship Hall at 7 pm on March 21.
