Our church’s Open & Affirming ministry invites to you join us for Adult Forums on Sundays in June to discuss how we can respond to the recent passage of House Bill 2, a NC law that strips various non-discrimination protections and targets transgender people specifically.

We will host a series of educational forums at the 10 am  hour in June including speakers from Equality NC, from the LGBT Center of Raleigh, and with the transgender community :

• June 12 — HB2: How Can We Respond? with representative from Equality NC – Tierra Ragland and Brent Childers
• June 19 — Transgender 101: Understanding Transgender Experience presentation by Rebecca Chapin, with Kyle Kentopp and J Zirbel
• June 26 — Becoming Transgender Allies and Building Supportive Communities with Rebecca Chapin, Lester Ruth and Rev. David Mateo
