Alternative Gift Market

UNITED CHURCH’S ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET Saturday, November 18 (9 am to 2 pm) Sunday, November 19 (10 am to 1 pm) The UCCH Alternative Gift Market has art and gifts that give twice, supporting local non-profits and global missions. School Safe Zones This Year’s United Church Market Mission will continue to support the School Safe Zones initiative through Church World Service. With your help, we will have the opportunity to support School Safe Zones through a variety of new gifts: teacher training, clean water, infrastructure improvements, sanitation among others. Together, we can create more smiles and more success stories. Interfaith Council of Social Services We will also continue our support of our local Interfaith Council of Social Services, which provides shelter, food, direct services, advocacy and information to people in need.

Calling a new Senior Pastor is one of the most exciting and meaningful times in the life of any church.   Our Pastor Search Committee at United Church of Chapel Hill, after meeting for many months and spending time in discernment, has selected a candidate for the position of Senior Pastor — Reverend Cameron Barr.   Rev. Barr will bring many gifts to this call, briefly summarized HERE. Members of UCCH will have the opportunity to vote on Sunday, November 19, at 12 pm, immediately following the 11 am worship service. We hope to see you on Sunday, November 19 when Rev. Barr will be preaching at both the 8:45 and 11 am services.
