Our Longest Night (or “Blue Christmas”) service is held on or close to the winter solstice – the longest night of the year – as an opportunity to acknowledge the darkness that so many are going through, even (or especially) during the brightness and cheer of the Advent season. We remember that the love of God and the hope of Christ’s birth are for all of us: those who are grieving the death of a loved one or the violence of the world, those who are lonely or far from home, those who are struggling financially, those who are experiencing any type of illness, pain, or conflict. This will be a bilingual service (in Spanish and English).

Nuestro servicio de la Noche Más Larga (o «Navidad Azul») se celebra en o cerca del solsticio de invierno – la noche más larga del año – como una oportunidad para reconocer la oscuridad que tantos están pasando, incluso (o especialmente) durante el brillo y la alegría de la temporada de Adviento. Recordamos que el amor de Dios y la esperanza del nacimiento de Cristo son para todos nosotros: los que lloran la muerte de un ser querido o la violencia del mundo, los que están solos o lejos de casa, los que tienen dificultades económicas, los que sufren cualquier tipo de enfermedad, dolor o conflicto. Este será un servicio bilingüe (en español e inglés).
