A Choral Workshop on Negro Spirituals with Dr. Ginger Jones-Robinson
In celebration of Juneteenth, The Negro Spirituals Royalties Project Committee of United Church of Chapel Hill is sponsoring a choral workshop on Negro Spirituals with Dr. Ginger Jones-Robinson on Saturday, June 3. Dr. Ginger will direct the workshop choir and congregation in worship at UCCH the next day. All are welcome – please share the invitation!
A lunch of pupusas and panes con pollo will be served at 12 p.m. on Saturday, provided by Xenia Carcamo of Maestros Apoyando a Maestros (Teachers Helping Teachers).
The registration fee includes lunch and helps ensure that UCCH can continue to present projects like this. Scholarships are available, so don’t let the cost stop you! See the poster and registration form for further details.
