Each Sunday from June 28 through July 26, United Church will bring together Festival Worship and La Mesa worship for a single combined service at 10:30am in the Sanctuary. Spanish and ASL interpreting will be provided.
Summer worship will focus on the Book of Revelation, one of the most misunderstood books of the Bible.
As we encounter Revelation through scripture and sermons during worship, a 9:15am Bible study will provide an opportunity to look deeper each Sunday. We will gather in the church library to explore Revelation’s genre, symbolism, historical context, and the ways this fascinating and sometimes unsettling apocalyptic book still speaks to us today.
