on life's journey,
you are welcome here.
United Church of Chapel Hill is open for building use by small UCCH and non-UCCH groups. Requests for recurring or one-time uses of indoor or outdoor space, including for groups that regularly met in the building pre-pandemic, must be sent to Church Administrator Kati Ruark (kruark@unitedchurch.org). (New requests are temporarily closed as of November 2022)
If you plan to visit the building during the week, we recommend contacting a staff person to coordinate before your arrival.
Please wear a mask in worship, gatherings, and public spaces of the building (except when eating and drinking). Small groups may choose not to wear masks in their reserved spaces; that decision should be made based on discussion with and consent of all present. Please wear a mask to enter/exit the building and in public spaces like hallways, restrooms, and kitchens, where you may encounter individuals who are not a part of your small group. You will see staff working in their offices without masks on, but please wear yours if you need to enter the office areas. Masks are available near the office/weekday entrance. Thank you for your help keeping our staff and community members safe!
Individuals and groups that choose to meet in-person do so at their own risk. UCCH is not liable for illness or injury that occurs as a result of attending a meeting or event at the church.
Questions about our current COVID-19 or building use policies? Please contact Kati (kruark@unitedchurch.org).
