Directions

From I-40: Take the NC 86 exit (exit 266), and turn south onto NC 86, also known as Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. (historic Airport Road). Go about 1.4 miles. Turn right into the United Church parking lot. If you miss the turn from Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. into the church, continue to Homestead Road at the next traffic light. Turn right and proceed as below.

From downtown Chapel Hill (Franklin and Columbia): Go north on Columbia Street (which very soon becomes Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. (historic Airport Road)) for about 2.6 miles. Turn left onto Homestead Road (at a traffic light). After about 0.2 miles turn right onto Aquatic Drive (formerly Northern Park Rd), and take the second entrance on the right into the United Church parking lot.

Parking

Our parking lot is entered either from southbound Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. or from Aquatic Dr (formerly Northern Park Rd). UNC graciously allows us to use their parking lot on weekends and at night. The UNC parking lot is entered by turning right off of Homestead Road, before Aquatic Dr. There is a gravel path from the UNC parking lot to the church. If you are unsure of your footing, you should park in our main lot. However, if you are able, we encourage the use of the UNC lot to leave more spaces in the main lot for those less able.

On those rare occasions when both the church and UNC lots are full, parking is available in the Aquatic Dr parking lot, about ¼ mile past the church on Aquatic Dr.
