The Sacred Conversation on Race class has invited Joe Mosnier, one of the two authors of Julius Chambers: A Life in the Legal Struggle for Civil Rights recently published by UNC Press, to speak on his book.
Joe Mosnier earned his Ph.D. in civil rights legal history in the Department of History at UNC-Chapel Hill. Joe worked for many years as Associate Director of UNC’s Center for the Study of the American South, where he led a wide range of academic research and oral history initiatives. Joe now pursues his commitment to social justice in the arena of global public health and will complete his Master’s in Global Public Health at UNC’s Gillings School this August.
