“Peace be with you!” Sundays, July 9, 16, 23, & 30 10 to 11 am for ages 3 thru rising 6th grade God created our lives and our hearts for peace. Please join us for VBS to learn some fun and creative ways to access peace from within so that it can be shared with the world around us! We will learn fun ways to calm our minds and bodies and to be present and intentional with each other so that we can receive one of God’s greatest blessings… peace! Our mornings together will include Bible lessons, gratitude prayers, creative art (SLIME, peace poles, gratitude bracelets, and more), time with nature, music, and fun activities to help children access their inner peace (yoga, meditation, body prayers, etc.). We will have a drop-in class on each of the Vacation Bible School Sundays (July 9, 16, 23, and 30). There won’t be a particular topic, but whoever would like to come talk, about parenting challenges or successes or just life please come. This is all informal, so come as able and so moved!
Spiritual Growth This summer, in July and August, our Spiritual Growth Class will be looking at several Christian writers and their light fictional stories. We will be reading for fun and enjoyment, as well as examining several questions: Where do you see evidence of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Trinity in these books? What does “Evil” look like? What brings salvation to the characters.
