As part of our church's greater mission to build and strengthen community at United Church, we are offering a monthly opportunity for community group connection among members of United Church, and encouraging the development of communal spiritual practices that will nourish us in faith.  A Community Group Ministry Team Leader is devoted to our church community, likes hosting or organizing gatherings, and enjoys making deeper connections with people. If you recognize any of these traits, then you might have the makings to become a Team Leader in our Small Group Ministry program. Team Leaders attend an orientation training Community Groups 101 “What Did I Get Myself Into?” Contents of the training include such topics as: ~Taking the Leap: The Invitation, the Meetup and Icebreakers ~Opening Up: Inviting Others to Share Deeply ~Praying Together: Becoming Comfortable with Communal Prayer ~Caring 101: Supporting Each Other in Times of Need CLICK HERE for more information.
