Interfaith Council for Social Service

The Inter-Faith Council for Social Service meets basic needs and helps individuals and families achieve their goals. They provide shelter, food, direct services, advocacy, and information to people in need. They accomplish this through strong partnerships with volunteers, staff, and those we serve. They rely on the active involvement of caring individuals, congregations, and other community organizations.

North Carolina Council of Churches

The North Carolina Council of Churches was founded in 1935 and is a statewide ecumenical organization promoting Christian unity and working towards a more just society. The Council enables denominations, congregations, and people of faith to individually and collectively impact our state on issues such as economic justice and development, human well-being, equality, compassion, and peace, following the example and mission of Jesus Christ.

Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ

There are 38 Conferences in the United Church of Christ. Most of these consist of associations and all consist of congregations, formally known as “Local Churches.” United Church of Chapel Hill belongs to the Southern Conference, headquartered in Burlington, NC.

CWS works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world.

Blowing Rock Conference Center is a regional not-for-profit Outdoor Ministry Center serving a wide range of religious and nonprofit organizations during all seasons of the year.

Interfaith Power and Light

North Carolina Interfaith Power & Light works with faith communities to address the causes and consequences of global climate change and promotes practical, hope-filled responses through education, outreach, and public policy advocacy.

Lancaster Theological Seminary

Lancaster Theological Seminary is a richly diverse and dynamic graduate school of theology located in the historic city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. An ecumenical ministry of the United Church of Christ, the campus is home to an engaged community of students and faculty from many Christian traditions and backgrounds.

The Protestant Community of Cologne Pesch (Evangelische Kirchengemeinde im Köln Pesch)

In 1995, the Protestant Community of Cologne Pesch and United Church of Chapel Hill entered into a partnership that has included many choir exchanges, joint youth trips, and mutual mission efforts.
